Call for Applications:
30 Under 30 in Defense competition 2025
Following the great success of last year’s competition, applications are now open for the list of the 30 promising young professionals under the age of 30 in the defense industry.
The competition is a joint initiative of Robel Innovations and Israel Defense, aimed at showcasing the next generation of Israel’s defense, HLS, and defense-tech industries.
We are seeking outstanding young men and women up to the age of 30, who have already demonstrated impact, innovation and leadership in the defense sector.
So, if you have:
- Developed an innovative, breakthrough technology in the field
- Hold a unique and significant role in the defense industry
- Played a meaningful part in the “Iron Swords” war
- Hold key positions in leading companies in the defense field
Last year’s class brought together 30 exceptional individuals who are now part of a vibrant and influential community. Many have since achieved remarkable professional milestones, becoming ambassadors of the next generation in Israel’s defense industry. Among them: innovators from leading defense organizations, breakthrough startup founders, and young leaders who played pivotal roles during the Iron Swords war.

Last year, the initiative created great buzz in the industry and led to dozens of applications from candidates aspiring to be part of the list, and I believe this year the number will only grow. The ‘Iron Swords’ war shifted the focus from the civilian high-tech industry to defense-tech, and the establishment of this list of promising young professionals is a direct result of this trend, which in my view will only continue to grow. If until now Israel was known worldwide as the Startup Nation, we are on our way to becoming the Defense-Tech Nation. Good luck to all participants.”
